Fort Knox

Fort Knox is located 35 miles south of Louisville, Kentucky, which is known as the home of Mounted Warfare. Although famous as the site of the U. S. Depository, the "Gold Vault," the primary mission of Fort Knox is developing leaders and training soldiers of the armed forces. Fort Knox is also home of the United States Army Recruiting Command.

The Exchange has 8 retail and 10 food facilities that serve the best customers in the world. We also have 29 concession operations that range from barber and beauty shops, gift shops, and a car wash. We are currently proud to be the first U. S. Installation to have Tim Horton’s Coffee and Bakery shop. The Exchange is proud to exhibit the tradition of hospitality for which Kentucky is famous and the sense of pride shows in our facilities.
