On behalf of the staff at the Fort Leonard Wood Exchange, I want to thank you for inquiring about our first class facilities. Fort Leonard Wood is an installation that is very proud of its training mission. Thousands of new recruits receive their Basic and AIT training here every year. In addition, the Installation has schools that teach the Army's Engineers, Military Police, as well as Chemical training. These schools have provided Fort Leonard Wood with the designation of the number one training installation in the Army. Permanent party at Fort Leonard Wood include the 3rd Training Brigade as well as the 1st Engineer Brigade. The proud heritage of Fort Leonard Wood can be seen at the Wood Walker Museum where over 100,000 people visit each year.

The Exchange continues to grow as we continue to seek more innovative ways to meet the needs of our patrons. Currently, the Fort Leonard Wood has two Express Stores for your fuel and convenience goods needs, a Blimpie Sandwich Shop, a Burger King and Church's Chicken each with a drive through for those on the go as well as ample seating within each concept.

In addition we have our Main Exchange shopping complex and a satellite Exchange shopping complex. The Main Exchange complex has 70,000 square feet of retail space to help meet all of your tax free shopping needs. This facility is also home to Greek Odyssey, Charlie's Steakery, Einstein's Bagels, Baskin Robbins, Manchu Wok, Anthony's Pizza and Robin Hood. A Concession Mall is also located in this facility and houses several gift shops to include Thing's Remembered as well as services such as the Barber and Beauty Shops, and a Vision Center co-located with an Optical Shop.

Our satellite Exchange is located in Building 490 where you will find the Military Clothing Store, Furniture Store, Class Six, Starbucks Coffee Shop, Taco John's, Stripes Alteration Shop, Starcade, GameStop and Mobile telephone sales.

Ft. Leonard Wood is located 2 miles south of I-44 just 2 hours west of St. Louis and 1 hour east of Springfield. We look forward to you visiting our facilities whether it is your first visit or one thousandth.
