Welcome to Tyndall AFB located in the panhandle of Florida. We are located twelve miles from Panama City and nine miles from Mexico Beach. Tyndall AFB provides endless recreational activities, including an eighteen hole golf course, driving range, swimming pool, RV camp site, sailing and power boating, scuba diving, snorkeling, endless surf and deep-sea fishing. Tyndall AFB is situated on an island and its beaches are known for being some of the most beautiful beaches in the world with sugar white sand and emerald green waters. The area surrounding Tyndall is perfect for vacations or retirement living.

Visit your Exchange facilities. The Exchange offers a wide variety of services including a Main Exchange Shopping Mall which houses a Charley's Grilled Subs, Taco Bell (opening February 2012), Barber Shop, General Nutrition Store, Happy Cup Coffee, Bagel Maker and Optical Shop. Armed Forces Bank is located in the back of the Main Exchange. They are a full service bank. We have two Expresses, a Class Six Store, Military Clothing Store, Burger King, Laundry Dry Cleaners and an Alteration Shop. We also have a DVD movie rental machine located outside of the Main Exchange and Felix Lake Express.
