You Made the Grade!
Program At A Glance
This is a worldwide program that began in February 2000. The "You Made the Grade Program" is designed to reward students for above-average academic achievement and to inspire them to continue to work harder. Recognizing student’s academic achievements offers the Exchange an opportunity to make a contribution to the military community quality of life and establish loyalty in our younger generation. This program provides an incentive for youth, not only to stay in school but, to excel.
$40,000 in Savings Bonds!
Each year the Exchange will award twelve savings bonds in the total amount of $40,000!
Students can register for a drawing for one of three Savings Bonds in the amount of $5000, $3000, or $2000.
Drawings will be held in January, April, July and October. All entries must be received by the close of the preceding calendar quarter. Drawing will be held quarterly by an independent contractor.
SD-O will notify GMs of the winners and send out the savings bonds for local presentation. GMs will arrange for maximum media coverage of these events and ensure that HQ-PL-C receives copies of print and video reports.
