Overview
This print on canvas from Capital Art shows the White House from Lafayette Park on a wet wintery night. Lafayette Square is a seven-acre public park located within President's Park in Washington, D.C.
It is named for the Marquis de Lafayette, a hero of the American Revolution, and includes a prominent statue portraying early 19th-century American president General Andrew Jackson on horseback.
The square and the surrounding structures were designated a National Historic Landmark District in 1970. Lafayette Square is located directly north of the White House.
This is a gallery-wrapped, photographic print on canvas over a wood frame. Gallery-wrapped refers to a canvas that is stretched around the frame and secured on the back so that the image continues around all four sides.
The end result is a beautiful piece of ready-to-hang art that is viewable from all sides. Model: DCA001C/size.
