To find the width you need, measure the chair from side to side and in between the armrests. For depth, measure from the front edge of the chair to the backrest. If the seat cushion is .25 to .5 inch shorter than the chair seat dimensions, this will provide a better fit than a cushion that is too big and will extend the life of the cushion by not bunching.
