Welcome to Fort Stewart/Hunter AAF Welcome to Coastal Georgia, the home of the Fort Stewart/Hunter AAF Consolidated Exchange. Fort Stewart, which is the largest Army installation east of the Mississippi, covers 279,270 acres spanning over several counties and is located near Hinesville, Ga. Fort Stewart is the home of the "tip of the spear", the mighty 3rd Infantry Division (Mech). Hunter Army Air Field is located 44 miles away in Savannah, Ga. Also part of the 3rd ID, Hunter AAF plays a critical role in force protection by sea and by air (HAAF has the Army's longest runway).

The Exchange is committed to supporting the Active Duty, National Guard, Reserves, Retirees, and Family Members in the Southeast Georgia area and anywhere else our service members may go. Many of our Associates and Managers at the Fort Stewart/Hunter AAF Exchange have deployed in support of OIF and OEF, working in retail facilities in Iraq and Afghanistan. We truly "Go Where You Go".

As an integral part of the military community,The Exchange operates businesses that provide goods and services to our customers. A large portion of the income received from those businesses (after paying for the merchandise, personnel costs, and other expenses), is returned to the community through a dividend that is paid to the MWR fund. For fiscal year 2021, shopping and dining at the Fort Stewart Exchange generated $1,210,853. For fiscal year 2021, shopping and dining at the Hunter AAF Exchange generated $283,924 in MWR dividends. The rest of the income goes into improving our operations and facilities. In fact, in the last two years, Fort Stewart opened a day spa, Game Stop, tactical shop, Starbucks, optometry shop, and renovated the Burger King, the Exchange Power Zone, and the Marne Express.
