Nestled in the California gold country, Beale AFB is located 10 miles east of the towns of Marysville and Yuba City and about 50 miles north of Sacramento, the state capital. Beale is home to the 9th Reconnaissance Wing, and is at the forefront of the Air Force's high technology. The 9th Reconnaissance Wing is responsible for providing national and theater command authorities with timely, reliable, high-quality, high-altitude reconnaissance products.

There is a wide variety of facilities at Beale. The Main Store to include Class Six, Military Clothing, and Firearms, an Express with gas to include diesel in Capehart Housing along with an Express on the way to the flightline. Food facilities include Yummy Tummy, Hefty Gyros, and Missy’s Mochas and More at the Main Exchange, a stand-alone Burger King across the street from the Main Exchange and Runway Pizzeria Delivery in the Community Center, Kados at Recce Town on the flightline, The Wing Spot located behind Airmen Family Readiness Center, Missy’s Mochas and More in Clinic, DGS Brew Coffee located in the 948th Intel Bldg. 23265.

The Exchange also contracts with several concessions which include: Dry Cleaner/Alterations, Barber Shop, and Patriot Outfitters, all located at your Main Exchange.
