Tinker Air Force Base was named in honor of Major General Clarence L. Tinker of Pawhuska, Oklahoma in 1941. Today Tinker AFB is a premier Air Force Material Command installation; with nearly 22,000 civilians and military personnel assigned to the base.

Tinker Exchange includes Exchange operations at Vance Air Force Base, Tulsa Air National Guard Base, Camp Gruber Training Center and McAlester Army Ammunition Plant.

It is our sincere desire to provide Top Quality Service at uniformly low prices. So, whether you are currently assigned to Tinker or are in the process of PCSing into the area, I hope you'll find that our store page provides useful information concerning the Exchange facilities and services. The entire Tinker Exchange team and I stand ready to provide you with the highest quality service and support that you have come to expect in the Exchange facilities around the world.

We encourage you to take advantage of the tremendous savings provided in our stores, restaurants and services. Your Exchange operates on funds generated by your purchase of merchandise and services; not tax dollars. Civilians are welcome to enjoy dining in any of our restaurants. Our primary goal is to constantly strive to exceed our customer's expectations.
