Randolph AFB is located on the northeast side of San Antonio off Loop 1604 and FM 78. It is one of the most active flying training installations in the Air Force. Home of the 12th Flying Training Wing hosting a number of major tenant units including HQ Air Education and Training Command (AETC), HQ Air Force Personnel Center (AFPC), HQ 19th Air Force (19 AF) and HQ Air Force Recruiting Service (AFRS). In addition to these major missions, Randolph AFB also serves as the home of the Air Force Manpower Agency, HQ Air Force Services Agency and many other DOD and Air Force units.

Randolph offers flagship Exchange facilities including a mega Exchange Mall, Home and Garden with Express and Class Six, Gas Kiosk; and a Military Clothing Store.
