Overview

The Saris Bike Beam is a handy accessory for transporting bikes with unconventional bike frames on trunk mount bike racks and hitch bike racks. The Bike Beam simply attaches between the bicycle seat post and handlebar stem to create in essence an artificial top tube to hang your bike on. The Saris Bike Beam allows much easier loading and transporting of bicycles that don't have a top tube frame that runs level and straight between the handlebars and seatpost - including women's, kids, BMX, hybrid and many free-ride/downhill mountain bikes. While most of today's bike racks will accommodate all styles of bicycles, the use of the Saris Bike Beam makes it quick and effortless to load up any bike that has a sloping top tube or has a funky frame geometry.
