Keeping the reliability up while keeping the weight down, a 3.7V Lithium-ion rechargeable battery powers the Brite-Nite Defender LED Spotlight. For easy recharging while on the go, an AC (wall outlet) and 12V DC (car socket) chargers are included.

The Brite-Nite Defender has been issued an ANSI FL1 Standards IPX3 rating, which means that it is splash and rainproof!
