Shipping Policy

Standard Shipping Fee

Customers will be charged a $4.95 standard shipping fee on all shopmyexchange.com orders less than $49. However, our shipping policy offers several opportunities for customers to receive FREE standard shipping, including:

  • FREE Standard Shipping on all orders totaling $49.00 or more
  • FREE Standard Shipping on all orders that contain at least one MCSS item
  • FREE Standard Shipping on all orders purchased with the MILITARYSTAR Card*
  • FREE Standard Shipping on all orders shipping to a deployed area (such as OIF/OEF, Bosnia, Kosovo)
Standard Shipping Fee Refund

If you return a shopmyexchange.com item due to an error on our part, for example incorrect item, damaged or defective, we will reimburse you for standard shipping charges. Please see Online Returns & Refunds for complete details. Delivery cannot be made to a foreign civilian address.

Home Delivery Information

Freight Items (CONUS)

Freight items ship directly from the manufacturer and are delivered by our delivery agent. Your account will be charged at the time order is shipped. Order must include the recipient's street address (no P.O. Box or General Delivery addresses) and daytime phone number. Because order processing times vary by manufacturer, see below for list of lead times by select manufacturers. Once our delivery agent receives your shipment, please allow up to 7 days for scheduled delivery. Our delivery agent will contact you to confirm a day and time for delivery with a 4 hour window and a 30 minute pre-call before arrival. Delivery Service Level options are available at check out for select items:

  • Option 1: Bronze Delivery (Free)
    Delivery includes placement of item inside first dry covered area of delivery address. This option does not include unpacking, assembly, or debris removal. Please inspect the item(s) carefully upon receipt and note any issues to the delivery agent. Customers may refuse damaged item(s) at time of delivery (in such instances it is not necessary to refuse the entire order).
  • Option 2: Gold Delivery (Additional $95.00; available on select items only)
    Delivery includes up to two (2) flights of stairs, item placement in your room of choice, unpacking, debris removal, old mattress haul-away (if needed), up to 30 minutes out-of-box light assembly (such as fastening feet, legs, & hardware onto pre-assembled items or fastening pieces of a folded item that is already partially assembled in the box) using basic tools such as screwdrivers. As a general rule, light assembly is considered something that does not prevent use of the product unless the item is packaged as partially-assembled and just requires major pieces to be fastened together (knocked-down or flat-packed furniture containing multiple parts is not considered light assembly). This delivery option does not include the moving of additional furniture or mattress pieces inside the home, and services requiring power tools, plumbing installation, or electrical wiring will not be performed. Please note that shippers may not be able to bring items over 300 pounds inside your front door or up/down stairs. Please inspect the item(s) carefully upon receipt and note any issues to the delivery agent. Customers may refuse damaged item(s) at time of delivery (in such instances it is not necessary to refuse the entire order).
Small Parcel Items (CONUS):

Your account will be charged at the time order is shipped. Once shipped, please allow up to 7 days for delivery; you will receive a tracking number and link to determine the approximate date of arrival.

Oversized Shipping & Handling Fee

Select oversized items, such as major appliances, large electronics, aerobic equipment, home gyms and swimming pools, will incur an oversized shipping and handling fee ranging from $25-$200, depending on the item. We have eliminated oversized shipping and handling fees on furniture and mattresses. Please note that shippers may not be able to bring items over 300 pounds inside your front door or up/down stairs.

Furniture Shipping Information

Furniture items are shipped to you directly from our suppliers. Your account will be charged at the time the order is shipped. Some suppliers require 14 to 21 business days for shipment, plus another 7 days for delivery. Our delivery company will contact you directly to set up a convenient delivery date and time.
